how fittings work with us

After you book an appointment online above, we will get you into our studio and show you the art of the possible. We typically have about 2 fittings; one to show you how the dress could fit and second to have you come try your dress on and pick it up!

what to bring with you

  • Final, exact shoe pairing

  • Shapewear or undies (think: nude-colored and not bulky)

timing + pricing

  • We usually need a minimum of 3 weeks (4-5 is our standard), but rush orders are often possible. If we are able to accommodate, a rush fee ranging between 20-50% can apply.

  • As a rule, we are not able to offer price estimates over the phone or online. Many factors go into costing out alterations, including the style of dress, construction, material, and current fit.

    • Most people fall between the $180-300 range

      • Customizations and sample sale dress resizing often fall above this range

      • If you are wanting to shop around for some prices, the estimate only will be $30 and you’ll take the dress back with you

other good things to know

  • Try your dress on at home first! We’ll have about 20 mins together.

  • We won’t charge your card on file. That is, unless you do not show up for your appointment. Don’t do that!

  • We’ve got some basic house rules. To receive service from us, you’ll have to agree to our terms of service. Read them here.

  • There is street parking right in front of our store, but plan accordingly.
